But that message is right!
Device file (or kernel device) is missing

Helmut, this seems as kernel driver problem
Hi there, Is there anything further I can add to this. Am I likley to have to use ndiswrapper in 11? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Wirelss card is supposed to be an Atheros AR5007EG.
AFAIK the AR5007EG is not supported yet. Neither by madwifi (a patched version for i386 is available at [1] but cannot be used on x86_64) nor by ath5k. You can of course try ndiswrapper. Sorry but I have to close this one as CANTFIX (aka WONTFIX) as the card is simply unsupported. We have to wait for upstream adding support for it. Thanks for your efforts on this. Hopefully I can get it to work with ndiswrapper (didn't manage to do so in 10.3) Had a quick snoop around both madwifi and wireless kernel site to see when it might be coming or how a non-programmer could help. I'll just have to be patient! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
