For the already configured modules, the user just clicks on 'next'." "All you need is a "setup workflow finished" flag on the client side. This is basically a "touch" operation to a specific file after the last config step." So what should be done? Return back functionality ( but it needs adapting ) or let it to next release, when we improve communication performance from frontend to backend. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

So I was wrong. Now that I have the real user experience, it just doesn't feel right to be thrown back to the beginning. Marking it P4, target milestone 'future'. Btw, apparently intermediate status _is_ saved by some modules. i.e. EULA had none of the radiobuttons preselected but 'yes, accept' preselected when I started it a second time. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

So in next round they have same settings which you save in your previous attempt, but there is no possibility to skip updating (if modules have correctly implemented update, which changes only changed things it also helps). see bug 551326 where is discussed additional button which allow skip of step. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
