No, the bug in libzypp still needs to be fixed.

This seems to be a metadata problem, not a software one. If two different items use the same name, things will go wring. No matter if they are applications or packages.

IMO it's the wrong use of name. The appdata id should be used internally and the name shown to the user.

@Dominique: Wouldn't the build service / appdata generator be able to detect this kind of name clash?
