[Bug 979055] New: Nouveau graphical glitches in window area
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=979055 Bug ID: 979055 Summary: Nouveau graphical glitches in window area Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org Assignee: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: tchvatal@suse.com QA Contact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 676145 --> http://bugzilla.suse.com/attachment.cgi?id=676145&action=edit glitch.png I am observing plenty of graphical glitches with the 4.5.2 kernel on the Tumbleweed as observable on the screenshot. Note it is not screen bug but it is window painting related because I can move it with the window (hence the terminal to cover it partly to show for that). I can reproduce similar problems with the terminal application where there are to many redraw requests in it. 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT215GLM [Quadro FX 1800M] (rev a2) There is nothing in the logs I could pinpoint to some failure regards to this if you think I should attach something just ask for it. The machine is in SUSE prg office and I can lend it to you if needed. Not really the same - fdo#47363 is a ticket you've reported on some Radeon chip. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I don't think we can fix this here. In fact, no-one here is really working on Nouveau. Therefore, to get anywhere, did you report this upstream?
Nope I have just the upstream bug as per the Url, as I have no clue if it is related maybe I should interlink them for the moment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
