Things working for years suddenly don't work anymore. This is mandatory for me (and also others I guess). I mount my server shares via fstab: //192.168.1.2/video /shared/video cifs username=xxxx,password=xyz,uid=1000,gid=100,file_mode=0666,dir_mode=0777,rw,iocharset=utf8 0 0 And when I locally browser throu /shared/videos using dolphin it suddenly lags (try to browser a few folders with content - it does not happen immediately) - and stops working. The CPU usage increases and the whole plasma desktop does not respond anymore (but I still can use Firefox). Top shows me following processes with high CPU utilization: * dolphin * kio_thumbnail * plasma-desktop None of those PIDs is killable - neither using -9 ... I need to do a hardreset to get a working KDE again.
