[Bug 954903] New: yast modules are not starting after update to 42.1
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=954903 Bug ID: 954903 Summary: yast modules are not starting after update to 42.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: adrian@suse.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Yast control center is working, but no yast module is loading. I see this in y2log: 2015-11-13 08:47:11 <1> linux-izwb(9294) [liby2] genericfrontend.cc(main):617 Launched YaST2 component 'y2base' 'sw_single' 'ncurses' 2015-11-13 08:47:11 <1> linux-izwb(9294) [ui-component] YUIComponentCreator.cc(createInternal):124 Creating UI component for "" 2015-11-13 08:47:11 <1> linux-izwb(9294) [liby2] genericfrontend.cc(main):806 YAST_IS_RUNNING is yes 2015-11-13 08:47:11 <3> linux-izwb(9294) [Y2Ruby] binary/Y2RubyUtils.cc(y2_require):25 cannot require yast:cannot load such file -- fast_gettext at /usr/lib64/ruby/vendor_ruby/2.1.0/yast/i18n.rb:1:in `require' 2015-11-13 08:47:11 <1> linux-izwb(9294) [liby2] genericfrontend.cc(main):820 Finished YaST2 component 'y2base' 2015-11-13 08:47:11 <1> linux-izwb(9294) [liby2] genericfrontend.cc(main):825 Exiting with client return value 'false' ruby2.1-rubygem-fast_gettext is installed, even from openSUSE repository. However, its is worth to mention that I added also OBS:Server:Unstable repository which is also providing rubygems. OBS itself only requires ruby2.2 ones, but the ruby2.1 ones are available there as well. The default ruby is also still 2.1 on my installation. Tell what else you need or if I should stop in any office with my notebook :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
