Just do the systemctl as root, then you might the correct result I guess and as you have already shown. Btw: do never start and/or use firefox as root.

I never start firefox as root. :) This trouble I got as user.

Firefox and/or some of the plugins and/or addons are changing the local unix sockets of the dbus connection used by systemctl and/or the GTK libraries used by firefox which also uses dbus.

Also you might deinstall flash or use the repository from adobe them self
