--- Comment #2 from Wolfgang Rosenauer wolfgang@rosenauer.org 2010-09-01 05:13:48 UTC --- Interesting is that this seems to happen for one user but not for another. Both are running KDE. No idea what the difference is for X.

--- Comment #3 from Stefan Dirsch sndirsch@novell.com 2010-09-01 05:54:29 UTC --- That's a messed up system mixing X.Org and NVIDIA components. You're mixing the NVIDIA X driver with the X.Org glx module. Hence the crash.
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the GLX module; please check in your X (EE) NVIDIA(0): log file that the GLX module has been loaded in your X (EE) NVIDIA(0): server, and that the module is the NVIDIA GLX module. If (EE) NVIDIA(0): you continue to encounter problems, Please try (EE) NVIDIA(0): reinstalling the NVIDIA driver.

Apparently that's a manual installation of NVIDIA's 256.44 driver. I suppose to install the 256.53 RPMs available for openSUSE 11.3 instead.
