[Bug 415163] New: During installation, screensaver asks for password
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=415163 Summary: During installation, screensaver asks for password Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Alpha 1 Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: federico@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Development I'm running the GNOME LiveCD installer. I left the machine idle for a while, and gnome-screensaver activated. When I jiggled the mouse, it asked me for a password. I was able to just click "unlock" with no password, and it worked, but the installation should not ask you for a password in the screensaver. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This would make it trivial to turn off. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If you create some kind of gconf2-branding-openSUSE-Live, we would need to make sure to remove it after installation is done. CCing Jiri, who is taking care of the live installation pieces. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
