After rebooting, memtest was not listed as a boot option. In Yast > Boot Loader, memtest is no longer listed, even though Software Management shows it is installed. Even trying to manually add memtest.bin fails. It might be related to bug: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=733181 The original name for memtest is the same as for the default kernel.
