I don't know a better way to discribe it, so please see the screenshot. It's only the graphics of gnome witch fails, other programs do run fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot linux... Actual Results: Graphics has gaps. Expected Results: Normal graphics... It appears you were hit by a graphic driver bug. Gnome3 is much more making use of graphic driver support and revealed a lot of bugs in those. Most have been fixed and for a good gnome3 experience it's recommended to move to openSUSE 12.1 (or wait a few more weeks and move to 12.2, which will have the all new Xorg 1.12.3) Closing this bug as 'wontfix' for 11.4.
