https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=866787 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=866787#c0 Summary: mount --move doesn't work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Achim.Klausmann@T-Online.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 I try 'mount --move olddir newdir' where newdir exists. It is not possible since systemd is installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. mkdir <newdir> 2.mount --move <olddir> <newdir> 3.message appears Actual Results: mount: bad option. Note that moving a mount residing under a shared mount is unsupported In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so. <newdir> is not mounted. Expected Results: <newdir> should be mounted. This worked as long as sysvinit was installed in previous version of openSUSE. It's happening in VMs (Virtualbox) also on real machines. I don't want a second mountpoint (-bind option), i like to replace the mountpoint. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
