I realised KDE4.2 seems to do s2both instead of s2ram after closing the lid of my notebook. The main problem is that on KDE4 the resuming process takes about 30-40 seconds after suspending, it seems the system is reading data from disk instead of using RAM. I don't know how and where to set KDE4 to use s2ram instead of s2both for a quicker resume after suspend. Other but minor problem is opening the lid doesn't wake up the system, I have to press a key for resuming. The machine is an ACER TM-6291.
