[Bug 1188947] sparse versioning prevents update from being installed

On my Leap 15.2 system, 2 versions of the "sparse" package are available:
sparse | package | 20180324-lp152.3.9 | x86_64 | Main repository sparse | package | 0.6.3-lp152.4.3.1 | x86_64 | Update repository
The change in versioning scheme causes the version in the main repository to be considered as more recent than the version in the update repository. Thus the update does not get installed.
I know about this -- I tried to fix it, but I did not find a way how... Should I go with 2021-0.6.3 or alike? (For leap only.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
