[Bug 1040381] New: LTP: OOM killer too aggressive
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1040381 Bug ID: 1040381 Summary: LTP: OOM killer too aggressive Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: richard.palethorpe@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- During the LTP OOM killer tests, OOM consistently starts being invoked on daemons and eventually Bash which causes the test to timeout. Previously this would happen very rarely, but now it happens every time. https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/407019#step/run_ltp/33 https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/407019/file/serial0.txt Possibly related to this: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=994066, but we are now on Kernel 4.11. The test is only ran with 2GB of RAM which I guess is not a realistic amount for any laptop from the past 5 years. I will try increasing it to 4GB to see what happens. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
