https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=861398 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=861398#c0 Summary: Kwallet asks for password on and on without accepting Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: drmeier@gmx.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.16 After KDE startup e. g. KMail is started (or any other application that uses kwallet). The password-dialog appears. If i type in the password (which is correct) the dialog disappears after clicking OK, but appears again after some seconds, as if the password would be not correct. I could type the password correctly 100-times but that makes no difference. I searched on google and found out that deleting file ~/.kde4/share/config/kwalletrc together with logout-login solves the problem. But sometimes only until the next login. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.After KDE startup start application using Kwallet 2.Type the password 3.Press OK Actual Results: The dialog disappears but comes back shortly Expected Results: The password is accepted the applications get access to the wallet. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
