Nothing is without problems though. The repo view only shows the URL of newly added repositories, with the important part of the URL missing. See screenshot. When I ticked these repos in the repo-manager screen they had useful names, like "Main update" or "buildservice: KDE community". Why can't these names be used in the repositories filter as well? You are supposed to see the url in the tooltip. The same problem still exists in beta2. yast->software repositories, click add, community repositories, next. I selected 4 repos (packman, videolan, kde community, kde backports - the last one failed with some probably transient error) and clicked ok. Then yast->software management, filter->repositories, the Name window on the left lists URLs for the newly added repos. The yellow popups show URLs too. When adding repos manually in YaST, the name displayed is the name you enter but all spaces are replaced with an underscore. I don't really get the idea of having a repo name and a repo alias in ZYpp, especially when they become out of sync after renaming the repo in YaST. It simply uses repo.info().name() instead of repo.name() in the Name column. Since the tooltip displays the correct name of the repo, I just took the code there. I have deprecated that name() method, and now is called alias(), so it is not confused with info().name() which is something completely different.
