The following packages were installed. python-virtualbox vboxgtk vboxgtk-lang virtualbox virtualbox-host-kmp-desktop vboxgtk vboxgtk-lang Installation finished successfully. When I create a VM using 'vboxgtk' I am getting the following error : ********************************** Could not create the VM This parameter must be a string or Unicode object ********************************** See screenshot : http://susepaste.org/53061430 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install VirtaulBox (sudo zypper in virtualbox) 2. Run VBoxGtk 3. Use virtualbox-qt instead, that's the official GUI. Well, there's no need to replace anything really. virtualbox-qt _is_ in the repos and should be preferred by YaST/zypper, at least on KDE-only systems.
