[Bug 1134228] New: Ashmem and Binder patches for Tumbleweed Kernel
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1134228 Bug ID: 1134228 Summary: Ashmem and Binder patches for Tumbleweed Kernel Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: davidgoree2003@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- As android is becoming more and more prominent, it would be nice to have support for anbox in the kernel for OpenSuse Tumbleweed. I definitely would not recommend this on Leap as it could incur a security flaw. Another option would be to include DKMS modules for install in the standard repo to make it easier to install even for Leap. As a development workstation, being agile and capable of testing different applications would be advantageous. https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/blob/master/debian/patches/debian... https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/blob/master/debian/patches/debian... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
