I manually reconfigured it to native resolution using sax2 but when I reloaded the KDE4 desktop, the width and contents of the plasma panel were all messed up as shown in the attached screenshot: - the width stays at 1024 rather than extending across the full 1400 pixels - the battery monitor, digital clock, and system tray widgets have moved way over to the left -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If the session is logged out cleanly then widget placements are remembered correctly. If however I move a widget then a few seconds later zap the X server with Control-Alt-Backspace, the move does not persist on next login. I am guessing the same will apply on hard system crashes (e.g. kernel hangs). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
