I cannot duplicate this. Does this happen for you w/ Milestone 8? (I'm wondering if you got a half-baked YaST where they were playing around with kvm/xen detection code.)
I might point out that the required kvm-amd / kvm-intel module is not loaded on your system, so the message is actually correct (a hypervisor is not running).
With both kvm and kvm-intel modules loaded (or kvm and kvm-amd) you should see a /dev/kvm, which indicates that kvm is ready to go.
