(MP3 is not supported - are you sure you're using Milestone 8?) Surely the audio format shouldn't make a difference? I would still suggest either moving to Amarok 2.2 or changing the default script to Ultimate Lyrics as LyricWiki also appears to have issue retrieving lyrics if the title is not an EXACT match for whatever is in their database.
