that wont help to determine the problem :-( so, you upgraded 10.2 to 10.3alpha2 or you have done a clean install ? it is important to known what php extensions do you have installed, maybe one broke with some other package upgrade.. but it is hard to guess really. I have performed a clean install of alpha2 and everything works as expected. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=255335 ------- Comment #13 from jarl@yaeda.org 2007-03-20 01:41 MST ------- I know that this did not help much other than me and the couple of others that have experienced the same problem now have limited the problem to that one folder. I have seen a lot of replies saying that it works as expected. And that is just fine. But that either does not help. The problem is there and I'm going to do a reinstall and modify line for line in the php configuration until I find the problem. As soon as I do I will get back. To make sure that it was no specific things in my code I did a <? echo "Hello"; ?> And that failed to... So the most simple stuff failed. I will not be able to do a reinstall until to night, but I will get back wednesday/thursday with what I think is the problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

I found the reason. In 10.2 short_open_tag = On but in 10.3 = Off, I changed the setting. And voila :-)
not a PHP problem then ;) but a problem in your application. stuff shipped with the distribution that needed short_open_tag enabled was fixed in upstream, so nothing requries it atm so, we are back to the upstream default short_open_tag which is "Off" -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
