Works fine with opensuse 11.1, but crashes with opensuse 12.1. The machine is completely unresponsive. No ping, nothing on netconsole, no change on caps-lock. It only works when the settings for the parallel port for the kernel in its modprobe config file(s) match the settings for the parallel port in the BIOS of your machine. You may have to experiment with the BIOS settings for the parallel port in your machine to get it again working. Higher parallel port modes like "ECP" or "DMA" may not work.
