To avoid that, I have to enter in console mode or press [CTRL]+[n] or the both and after,KDM works fine. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.just swith on the machine 2. 3. I forgot to tell I am using kde3 with kdm3. I ain't find the kdmrc file for kdm3 Please indicate me where it is. Furthermore, I return on the default kernel instead of the PAE one. It behave well until today when I got another 'Echec de la connexion' error.
