https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=329896#c1 --- Comment #1 from Jiri Dluhos <jdluhos@novell.com> 2007-10-01 11:35:24 MST --- Update: It seems that vsftpd clashes with xinetd; when I manually stop xinetd, it starts to work. (This is a new behavior; I'm not sure if I had xinetd before, but either it did not clash previously, or it was not there and the installer has added it on its own behalf during the upgrade.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=329896#c3 --- Comment #3 from Jiri Dluhos <jdluhos@novell.com> 2007-10-08 09:13:00 MST --- Created an attachment (id=176828) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=176828) The vsftpd.conf from the affected machine. Please find the attached copy of /etc/vsftpd.conf. Unfortunately, I have already fixed the machine, so I cannot provide the original xinetd.conf; sorry. (But it should be the basic xinetd.conf as installed by the xinetd package; I have done no changes.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
