https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=308967 Summary: Banshee cannot import or play audio cd with data on Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 3 Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: james@usr-local-bin.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer As $SUMMARY suggests, if an audio CD contains data files as well as the audio tracks, Banshee cannot play it or import it. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=308967#c2 JP Rosevear <jpr@novell.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|Major |Normal --- Comment #2 from JP Rosevear <jpr@novell.com> 2007-09-11 11:36:19 MST --- We had a similar bug with re-writeable discs and nautilus, the solution there was to umount the CD before acting on it. Probably not major becuase data/audio mixes are not that common. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=308967#c3 --- Comment #3 from James Ogley <james@usr-local-bin.org> 2007-09-11 12:07:00 MST --- In this instance, umounting only solves the playing issue, not the import issue which remains the same. Also, data/audio mixes are becoming increasingly common, I reckon about 50% of my recent CD purchases have had some data on as well as the audio. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
