[Bug 382708] New: no description in some groupwise appointments ...
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=382708 Summary: no description in some groupwise appointments ... Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: Evolution AssignedTo: bnc-team-evolution@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mmeeks@novell.com QAContact: lakhil@novell.com CC: kframe@novell.com, jpr@novell.com Found By: --- I received a Groupwise appointment from Kelli: it showed up in my calendar at the correct time etc. & all was well :-) However - the description with what was required for the meeting, call-in-details (etc.) was missing. This is not true for other / older groupwise appointments (eg. the recurring staff meeting) - which has a fine description. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I tested it in 10.3, 11.0 and SLED sp2. It shows the description in all the cases. I have got few issues like the pre-SLED because libsoup and evo were handling \n and \n\r in different ways. But that was a long time ago. Now this works fine in both the cases. If this still happens with you, after clearing groupwise calendar cache, can you get GROUPWISE_DEBUG traces of evolution-data-server so that we can see what is the response coming from the server for you ? Also, access to your machine (to compare the newline handling etc.) will also be helpful. Thanks. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Can you please open a bug upstream and attach the patch there? Else, the patch will never get upstreamed.
