I've found that the graphics problem is unrelated to the cirrus-bochs patch.
I've branched the plymouth package from Base:System and rebuilt it on OBS. I let OBS do the build and installed it from my branched repo with 'zypper dup'. It does not work correctly. It is at version 22.02.122+180.b1d5aa9.
Tumbleweed's current version is at 22.02.122+94.4bd41a3 and appears to work correctly?
Cliff, am I missing something?
Yes, I think the update could not helps on this bug. Currently, I'm involved in a M17N issue which is emergency to GNOME. So sorry for the delay. I suppose this bug could be resolve from the Plymouth side. and this is a P5 bug, I could switch back to this several days later, and also will try to reproduce the env.
