The Connection refused problem is probably a daemon-not-running issue. So, can you check that pulseaudio is running? If not, is it in the session startup (Control Center->Sessions->Autostart)? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I remember I added to myself to the pulseaudio groups and restarted and everything was okay after that. Now when I removed myself from the PA groups everything is okay as well. I do see that PA daemon is in startup list. But as I said after the install everything was throwing "connection refused" errors at me from the PA front. I guess I will set this bug as invalid. Sorry for the alarm. This has been on my list to file for a long time and I've falsely assumed the solution. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
