This seems to be the issue of the old sof-firmware. You can install the latest one from OBS multimedia:libs repo: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/multimedia:/libs/15.6/ Maybe I should push the new sof-firmware as a maintenance update for Leap 15.6, too.
