[Bug 1163160] New: Cannot open files from Gnome desktop when double-clicking their icons
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1163160 Bug ID: 1163160 Summary: Cannot open files from Gnome desktop when double-clicking their icons Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Factory Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: gnome-bugs@suse.de Reporter: mobile.harvey@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hi I am running the latest Gnome Tumbleweed (updated today) and I have the Desktop Icons extension enabled. When I double-click on a text file or image sitting on my desktop, neither load into their respective apps. Instead I either get no response, or I see a Gnome notification stating: "Execution of "file name etc..." Command not found However, if I open Nautilus and browse into my Desktop folder I can open any file no problem. I have updated the Desktop Icons extension and disable / enabled it but the problem persists. Thanks Nick -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
