[Bug 209602] New: Package kernel-headers or linux-kernel-headers missing from Factory tree
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=209602 Summary: Package kernel-headers or linux-kernel-headers missing from Factory tree Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 4 plus Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa@suse.de glibc-devel is currently not installable: Unsatisfied dependency: glibc-devel-2.4.90-20@i686 requires kernel-headers Unsatisfied dependency: glibc-devel-2.5-3@i586 requires linux-kernel-headers This is not good because it prevents updating glibc to version 2.5 for testing. (I know that kernel-headers or linux-kernel-headers is a new package, but glibc-devel should be installable.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

The package is called linux-kernel-headers. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=209602 ------- Comment #2 from mls@novell.com 2006-10-03 06:59 MST ------- The bug is something completely different: Rudi's sync script should only sync factory if the build is complete. This doesn't seem to work when the basepacks get build, resulting in lots of broken packages and bug reports. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=209602 ------- Comment #4 from andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de 2006-10-05 07:03 MST ------- Package linux-kernel-headers is now available in the Factory tree. That was just a synchronisation problem - sorry! The original problem is fixed, comment 2 is still open. Not sure that this is still a blocker, please decide. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
