It seems you are using flash-player from adobe - 10.2 is the latest version in openSUSE 11.4. Can you check (separately from the above) whether it crashes with 10.2 from our repos? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I couldn't find a 64bit-version on the buildservice. Some more details to the crash: - enable default desktop efects. - start the flashvideo. - wait for screensaver (blank screen) coming up. - press ESC -> kwin crashes (sigseg) - or press blank: kwin crashes or screen hangs. X must be restarted from console (X itself doesn't hang - you can switch with CTRL-ALT-F1). Disable blur and / or translucency: - Start the flashvideo - wait for screensaver coming up - press ESC: crash kwin (one time it doesn't crash) - or press blank: screen hangs. X must be restarted from console (X itself doesn't hang ...) Disable desktop effects at all: - Start flashvideo - wait for screensaver coming up - press ESC or blank: all fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Flash player has a 64 bit version now so i suggest you do an upgrade or you can manually install flash player from adobe labs, http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplatformruntimes/flashplayer11-2/ , if you plan on using openSUSE 11.4 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
