Go to nirvana by running "setup-pulse --disable" B. Set KillUserProcesses=yes in /etc/systemd/logind.conf (but it kills detachable sessions like screen, too) C. Set exit-idle-time and scache-idle-time to 0 in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf However, the option C seems buggy on 13.1, unfortunately. Actually, PA daemon should exist after 20 seconds, but this doesn't seem to work by some reason, too. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852982 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852982#c3 --- Comment #3 from Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.com> 2013-11-29 16:21:50 UTC --- I correct my statement: it works as expected. PA daemon exits after 20 seconds after logout. HOWEVER, if you have a login on Linux console with the same user id, PA continues to run until this session is logged out. It's clever enough to be informed by systemd-logind about this session. So, if you want to watch about activity, do it from root user. Maybe 20 seconds timeout is a bit too long nowadays. We can set to 0 as default drastically, too. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
