Notice that cvs version of zapping (0.10cvs4-1) does not have this particular problem (it has some others, though). It seems the only gnome tv app, and is better than using kdetv in gnome, so if the problem was solved later upstream, perhaps it can be coded in the "stable" older version the distro has. If you are insterested, 0.10cvs4-1 may suddenly go to 100% cpu if you try to move the window one milimeter past the edge of the screen. Version 0.10cvs6 appears not to have that problem, but instead, it only works in overlay mode, capture mode is grayed out.
