Was rsync'ing this laptop to central server... NM disconnects after a while, as it seems to find a better connection, which is nothing else but the SAME connection it was connected to (see log). Then, I get a backtrace. As for "finding the SAME connection", the log shows: Mar 18 21:40:17 fredb-opensuse NetworkManager: <info> eth1: link timed out. Mar 18 21:40:17 fredb-opensuse NetworkManager: <info> SWITCH: found better connection 'eth1/openux' than current connection 'eth1/openux'. same_ssid=1, have_link=0 The "link timed out" means the driver has disconnected and NM has to reconnect (SWITCH).
