I don<t thing it can be classified as a bug but those little improvement could make the life easier for everybody: - When I log on, the update notification display (when available) that some updates are available. This message appear in a popup near the notification icon in the taskbar. But if I click anywhere on the screen instead of select on on the button in the popup (install or cancel if I remember well) then there will be no more notification popup or warnings) - A recuring alert should be displayed (same way as popup) when the user have not selected any option so he knows that some actions needs to be done (install the update or never alert for this session for exemple) The recuring interval could be a parameter as well as the action to perform (never ask me again for this session, install on reboot, install on shutdown, etc.) and also some actions should be only available when the user have the rights to do them) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I think that 15 mns could be fine but this setting may be different for different user, like if the OpenSuse box is used as a server, in this case, the update notification could be longer than that and, why not, should be completly disable. Can you comment about this and also for the other features that I have talked earlier? The config dialog will contain an element to decide in which intervals (in minutes or never) this notification appears. Unfortunately opensuse-updater-kde is not able to connect update tasks to system reboot/shutdown.
