[Bug 398696] New: starting xend drops wireless connection
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=398696 Summary: starting xend drops wireless connection Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: i386 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xen AssignedTo: cgriffin@novell.com ReportedBy: markus.webmail@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I have wlan0 as network connection (with wpa and dhcp). eth0 is disabled. Running "rcxend start" drops the wireless connection wlan0 (dhcp release) and partially transfers it to pwlan0. dhcp is started again but not wpa_supplicant, so this connection does not work. A "network restart" corrects this, now pwlan0 is setup as wireless connection. To have a configuration for pwlan0 i have created a symlink (ifcfg-pwlan0 -> ifcfg-wlan0 in /etc/sysconfig/network). Seems this needs some fine tuning to let it work during the usual setup of runlevel 3 without user intervention. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
