The touchscreen works with the kernel of the day. The touchpad experienced a regression. Multitouch is no longer recognized. Cursor speed can no longer be configured in the KDE configure desktop application. cat /var/log/messages | grep synaptics reveals an error message not present in the stock Opensuse 13.1 kernel. psmouse serio1: synaptics: Unable to query device Several kernel of the day versions have been tried. All show the error message. The latest version tried was: 3.13.2-1.g7e6b5de-desktop Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot the machine 2. Two-finger touch does not work. Cursor speed cannot be configured. Actual Results: No action on two-finger touch (xev reports an event but no mouse button action). Cursor speed cannot be configured in KDE configure desktop. Expected Results: Two finger touch and drag should initiate a scrolling action. xev should show a button action.
