Due to a plethora of problems with gamin lately (unresponsive/hung gam-server
processes), I removed it. Trying fam - which doesn't work even out of the box
with systemd (filed a bug), made me think:

- fam isn't maintained.
- gamin hasn't been especially stable
- inotify, however, has been around a while and seems to work.

Can fam/gamin support be removed from KDE and replaced/supplemented with
inotify?
Our startkde.suse.sh script still sets USE_FAM, for what that's worth.
