While upgrading from 42.2 to Leap 15 something forced the installation of
hundreds of texlive packages which had to be hunted down and uninstalled
manually.
No texlive packages were previously installed, and no new packages were
selected for the in-place upgrade.
In place upgrades should not follow recommended packages.
