[Bug 380263] New: display settings not settable
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=380263 Summary: display settings not settable Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: aos@att.net QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Since the well know problem with not being able to change desktop resolution with kcontrol, im also not able to set the setting that applys the screen resolution changes at login, so at every boot I have 2560x800 i can use the randr tray to change it, but its annoying, and also prevents compiz from working properly [massive screen corruption], is there a work arround? [this is a problem because i needed to use a external monitor for a time, but once removed, this happens]. Im in fglrx 8-3 and with aiglx on, of course this bug is there even in stock driver, or with nvidia card. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

There is now RANDR 1.2 support in krandrtray of KDE4. I'm not sure if anybody will backport it to krandrtray of KDE3. Probably not. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
