[Bug 640087] New: bs_sched: Requires(post) misinterpreted
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=640087 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=640087#c0 Summary: bs_sched: Requires(post) misinterpreted Classification: Internal Novell Products Product: openSUSE Build Service Version: api Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: General AssignedTo: adrian@novell.com ReportedBy: jengelh@medozas.de QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: Community User Blocker: --- Let there be a specfile bar.spec with this line (among the remaining blurb that is needed): Requires: foo Building bar.spec will not require a package foo to be present at build time, which is correct. However, if one now adds: Requires(post): foo bs_sched may go into "expansion error" state when it cannot find a foo binary. I do believe this behavior is incorrect, because bar is not going to be installed any more than it was previously with just "Requires:". Using OBS 2.0.6 on openSUSE 11.3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
