But the --arch switch might be nice for people with dual-arch systems. This would select packages with the specified arch. What do you need to do with it? See also the 'arch' option in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf. But i'm afraid we can't port such feature back to code11. It would be only for future releases. BTW, you mention rug compatibility in the summary, but i can't see any --architecture option in rug 7.2.2 on an SLE-10-SP2 system. Rug does not support an --arch switch (it only supports the other two opts). Nevertheless it would be nice to have that for zypper. I need that to download packages from a server for another machine.
