[Bug 1171852] New: devel:languages:rust/rust: cargo bash completion is broken without the "bash-completion" package
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171852 Bug ID: 1171852 Summary: devel:languages:rust/rust: cargo bash completion is broken without the "bash-completion" package Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software Assignee: federico@suse.com Reporter: 1benediktwerner@gmail.com QA Contact: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com CC: alarrosa@suse.com, i.gnatenko.brain@gmail.com, luke@ljones.dev, ngompa13@gmail.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Cargo's bash-completion included in this package requires the `_filedir` function which requires the `bash-completion` package to be installed. At least on my tumbleweed setup, this package is not installed by default. Pressing "tab" after `cargo run -- ` without the package causes an error to be printed to the screen. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

However, the package should have it as requirement so it gets installed by default. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
