From the error message, I am very much assuming that the glib compile script did not work.

I guess you had to uninstall the plugin again in order to make your evolution work, but it should be as simple as this for you to reproduce and verify: - Reinstall evolution-plugin-rss - In a terminal, as root, execute: /usr/bin/glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/ With this, I believe your issue should be fixed.
