http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559233 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559233#c0 Summary: patch status reported as uptodate until manually accepting gpg-keys Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: WebYaST AssignedTo: kkaempf@novell.com ReportedBy: jdsn@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: schubi@novell.com, dmacvicar@novell.com Found By: Development Blocker: --- I ran an instance of WebYaST build 0.20.0 (with manually fixed product file) and did the basic setup workflow successfully. Two update repos were added, one for SLE11 and one for WebYaST. But the patch status was reported as up-to-date. Only after I did a manually "zypper ref" on the console and accepted all gpg keys then WebYaST reported that it found two updates for SLE11. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

"SuSE Package Signing Key" should be fixed by including suse-build-key.rpm in the appliance (and in the docs for building one!)
That did not help :( It is actually reported as a Studio bug 547246 I will modify the sample appliance to import the key. Actually, as Stano has reminded me, an unknown key is a problem in the appliance, which is NOT a problem of WebYaST itself. The problem of WebYaST is that it hides the unknown key and pretends everything is OK. -> Schubi -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
