Why this module doesn't recognize my notebook? else i changed "hardware" in bug overview from i586 to i686 according to "uname -a" and importance from major to normal. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Does it work with the kernel from: http://labs.suse.cz/jslaby/bug-746695/ ? But this kernel doesn't have "brcmsmac" module (for broadcom wifi). Sorry, english is not my native language, so I don't totally understand what does "any added value" from your last question. As I understood, you asked me about for what I need this module? This module allows me to turn off (and turn on, of course) the Wi-Fi module through the rfkill. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I found some advices, but its not working for me. I tried add some value into the /etc/modprobe.d/99-local.conf or create separate .conf in that folder. And create samsung-laptop.conf in /etc/modules-load.d/ with a "samsung-laptop" string. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
