[Bug 475580] New: sysvinit: /dev/initctl, /dev/blog
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=475580 Summary: sysvinit: /dev/initctl, /dev/blog Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: werner@novell.com ReportedBy: lnussel@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Development sysvinit contains /dev/initctl in the filelist and it creates /dev/blog in %post. If I'm not mistaken both shouldn't be needed as the daemons have to create those pipes themselves anyways as /dev/ is on tmpfs nowadays. So what about removing the references to /dev/initctl and /dev/blog from the package? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
